Terms of Service

1. These terms
By using this website, the OakHaven game client, or the OakHaven game server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
2. Who you buy from
OakHaven is run by the businesses below. Each order is sold by one of them, and your receipt names the seller of your order.

3. Your account
Your account is yours to look after. Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done on your account, including purchases. We do not replace items lost because someone else used your account.
Accounts, items and in-game wealth stay ours. You may not sell, rent, or trade an account, and you may not buy or sell in-game items for real money outside this store.
4. What you buy
You buy a licence to use digital content on your OakHaven account. You do not buy real money, real goods, or any ownership of the game. In-game items have no value outside the game, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be moved to another account.
The content of packages, their in-game effects, and their prices can change at any time as the game is balanced. A change does not entitle you to a refund of an earlier purchase.
5. Prices, tax and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include any VAT that applies to you. The tax is worked out from your billing country and is shown on your receipt. Your bank may convert the amount to your own currency and charge you for that.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We may refuse or cancel any order we believe to be fraudulent, made with a stolen card, or made to get around a ban.
6. Delivery
Rewards are delivered inside the game as soon as you type ::claim. Check the in-game name you type at checkout. We cannot move rewards to another account.
7. Right of withdrawal
At checkout you ask for your rewards to be delivered at once, and you agree that doing so ends any right to change your mind afterwards.
Because of that, purchases are final once claimed. See the refund policy for the cases where we still pay money back.
8. Rules apply to donors too
Paying does not buy you an exception. Every player follows the same in-game rules. Cheating, botting, real-world trading, abusing bugs, or harassing other players will get your account punished no matter how much you have spent.
9. Bans and punishments
A banned or muted account keeps its purchases but cannot use them. A punishment is not a reason for a refund, and we do not pay out the value of an account we close for breaking the rules.
10. Age
You must be 18, or have permission from the person who owns the payment method you use. If you do not, do not buy anything.
If someone claims a purchase was not authorised, we investigate it. We may ask the card holder to confirm it directly, and we act on what the card issuer determines - not on the claim alone.
11. The service is provided as it is
OakHaven is a hobby server. We do not promise it will be online, free of bugs, or around forever. We are not liable for lost items, lost progress, downtime, or anything else that follows from using or not being able to use the game, to the fullest extent allowed.
12. Personal data
We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy, following the GDPR. You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to erase it, from inside the game.
13. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it. If we make an important change we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
